While the poor burmese, adults and children as young as 13 years of age, work illegally for 14 hours a day on hotel building sites in Thailand under ghastly circumstances and usually for less than 1€ per day, rich or only your normal european working upper middle-class tourists don't know what has been going on and are too busy with enjoying their vacation, while the travel agencies as the swedish Ving, Apollo and Fritidsresor, who make ridiculous amounts of money on those tourists and cheep built hotels simply say "It is not our problem, we're making money".
That's the only important thing in the world. Money. Forget about health, forget about peace, justice and people dying of hunger, thirst and the simplest of diseases. It's the money. Money will one day be "The Fall of the Western World". The only question is if we will live long enough to see it happen. Call me a pessimist...
